Thornetta Davis is a Detroit born-and-raised singer/songwriter who’s performed alongside legends such as Ray Charles, Bob Segar, BB King, and Kid Rock.

In her recent conversation with Mike, Thornetta remembers her early music career and getting her songs played on the Sopranos and other HBO programs. Her and Mike also remember their Super Bowl commercial, and the social progress Detroit has made over the years. Thornetta also opens up about what music means to her, and why she wants to be a positive force in the world
