Mike Morse Law Firm Teams Up with Buddy’s Pizza to Raise Distracted Driving Awareness

Mike Morse Law Firm is teaming up with Buddy’s Pizza, the iconic Detroit pizzeria, to host a special event aimed at raising awareness about the dangers of distracted driving!

As part of Distracted Driving Awareness Month in the month April, we are giving away 1000 cell phone vehicle holders at Buddy’s Pizza, 1565 Broadway, across from Comerica Park on Sunday, April 14th, starting at 11:00 AM.

Distracted driving is a serious issue both in Michigan and nationwide. In Michigan alone, distracted driving contributed to 19,510 crashes in 2021, according to the Michigan State Police. According to NHTSA, 3,522 people were killed nationwide as a result of 3,211 motor vehicle crashes involving distracted drivers in 2021, accounting for slightly more than 8% of all fatal crashes. In June 2023, state officials and anti-distracted driving leaders signed three bills aimed at reducing distracted driving and saving lives by ensuring that drivers have their full attention on the road with the use of hands-free technology.
