Ed Kardelis brings more than two decades of legal experience to his role as LeadLitigation Attorney at Mike Morse Law Firm. A proud Chicago native, Ed graduated from Michigan State University in 2001 before earning his law degree from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law (formerly John Marshall) in 2004.
He began his career in Chicago, spending two years as a defense attorney before
transitioning to plaintiff’s personal injury law, where he spent the next seven years
representing injury victims. During that time, Ed took multiple cases to jury verdict on
behalf of both plaintiffs and insurance companies, giving him valuable insight into how
both sides operate. His dedication to advocacy earned him recognition as a “Rising
Star” by Chicago Magazine in the area of plaintiff’s personal injury law.
After moving to Michigan, Ed served as an equity partner at his previous law firm for 12
years, focusing primarily on insurance defense litigation. Now, he brings that deep
courtroom experience and balanced perspective to fight for justice on behalf of injured
clients at Mike Morse Law Firm.
Ed is licensed to practice law in Illinois, Michigan, and the U.S. District Court for the
Northern District of Illinois.
Outside the office, Ed enjoys traveling and golfing with his wife and their two children.
The family also includes a lovable mixed breed rescue dog. They currently reside in
Grand Rapids.
