After leaving a career in medical practice management, David Eagles graduated cum laude from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2014. David worked as an insurance defense attorney for over 10 years before joining Mike Morse Law Firm which provides him with unique insight that is advantageous when advocating for his clients.
David is an engaged member of the legal community, having served in several professional associations and leadership roles. He was a longstanding elected representative for the 6th Circuit on the State Bar of Michigan’s Representative Assembly from 2016 – 2024. David was also a judicial candidate for the 19th Circuit Court in the 2020 election. He served on the Character and Fitness Review Committee for the State Bar of Michigan for several years and the Steering Committee on Professional Standards. Additionally, David acted as a past Vice Chair of the American Bar Association’s Committee on Civil Rights and Social Justice, and he has served on the Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association Judicial Candidate Review Committee. He is also a published legal contributor, co-authoring the Michigan Guide to Military Family Law, released by the Michigan Department of Attorney General.
In his free time, David enjoys spending time in Northern Michigan and boating.
