According to data provided by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the following recalls were issued in April. If you find your vehicle on this list, contact your dealership for further information about the steps to take relating to your specific recall defect.

2018-2021 Volkswagen Atlas and 2020 Atlas Cross Sport vehicles

Year: 2023
Units Recalled: 143,053
Defect: The passenger occupant detection system (PODS) may experience a fault in the wiring and deactivate the front passenger air bag when the seat is occupied.

2015-2019 Kia Soul EV vehicles

Year: 2023
Units Recalled: 2,689
Defect: The high-voltage battery pack may experience an electrical short-circuit while driving.

2023 Hyundai Genesis G90 vehicles

Year: 2023
Units Recalled: 575
Defect: In the event of a crash, the front driver-side, passenger-side, and rear seat belt pretensioners may explode upon deployment.

2023 Land Rover Range Rover vehicle

Year: 2023
Units Recalled: 1
Defect: A gasket on the turbo oil drain pipe may be incorrectly installed or missing, which can result in an oil leak.

2018-2021 Land Rover Range Rover PHEV and 2018-2022 Land Rover Range Rover Sport PHEV vehicles

Year: 2023
Units Recalled: 2,881
Defect: The water pump pulley drive belt may become damaged or detach, which can allow the engine to overheat. An overheated engine can rupture the engine coolant elbow pipe, leaking coolant onto the turbocharger heat shield.

2020 Audi Q7 vehicles

Year: 2023
Units Recalled: 19
Defect: Incompatibility between the front camera control software and the heating element used for the front camera on the windshield may cause the heating element to overheat.

2023 Volkswagen ID4 vehicles

Year: 2023
Units Recalled: 15,989
Defect: The affected vehicles may have been manufactured with door handles that allow water to enter the circuit board assembly, which can cause the door to open unexpectedly when the vehicle is subject to high lateral forces at speeds below 9 mph/15 kmh.

2022 Volkswagen TAOS vehicles

Year: 2023
Units Recalled: 15,874
Defect: The fuel delivery pump may break, which could cause a sudden engine stall.

2007-2011 Honda CR-V vehicles

Year: 2023
Units Recalled: 563,711
Defect: Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2007-2011 CR-V vehicles that were sold, or ever registered in Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, Washington D.C., and Wisconsin. An accumulation of road salt may cause the frame to corrode and possibly detach the rear trailing arm.

2023 Honda Civic Type R vehicles

Year: 2023
Units Recalled: 640
Defect: The driver’s seat frame may not have been welded properly, which can cause the seat cushion frame to break. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 207, “Seating Systems.”

2020 Lightning FE4-86 and FT3-43, 2019-2021 FE4-129, and 2019-2022 FT3-86 vehicles

Units Recalled: 148
Defect: The battery packs may have defective structural welds and experience an internal radiator leak, causing battery failure.

2018-2019 Tesla Model 3 vehicles

Year: 2023
Units Recalled: 422
Defect: The front suspension lateral link fasteners may loosen, allowing the lateral link to separate from the sub-frame.

2023 Kia Carnival vehicles

Year: 2023
Units Recalled: 51,568
Defect: The auto-reverse feature for the power sliding doors (PSD) may not activate in all situations.

2023 Kia K5 vehicles

Year: 2023
Units Recalled: 188,912
Defect: The side curtain air bags may have been installed incorrectly, causing them not to deploy properly in the event of a crash.

2022-2023 Rivian R1S vehicles

Year: 2023
Units Recalled: 5,030
Defect: The reverse light beam may not be visible from certain angles. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, “Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment.”

Certain Honda CR-V, Accord and Accord Hybrid, Odyssey, Insight, and Acura RDX vehicles

Year: 2023
Units Recalled: 448,613
Defect: Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2017-2020 CR-V, 2018-2019 Accord and Accord Hybrid, 2018-2020 Odyssey, 2019 Insight, and 2019-2020 Acura RDX vehicles. A manufacturing issue with the front seat belts may cause the seat belt buckle channel to interfere with the release button, preventing the seat belt buckle from latching.

2023 Mercedes-Benz AMG CLA 45 vehicles

Year: 2023
Units Recalled: 3
Defect: A sudden loss of air pressure from a tire may cause a loss of vehicle control while driving, increasing the risk of a crash.

2004-2005 Porsche Carrera GT vehicles

Year: 2023
Units Recalled: 489
Defect: The spherical joints that connect the wishbone suspension components on the front and rear axles can fail due to damage from mechanical stress and corrosion.

2019-2021 BMW 330i, 330i xDrive, M340i xDrive, 2020-2021 X3 sDrive30i, X3 xDrive30i, X3 M40i, X3M, 2021 X3 xDrive30e, X4 xDrive30i, and X4M vehicles

Year: 2023
Units Recalled: 51
Defect: The seat frame may not have been welded properly to the seat rails.

2023 Maserati MC20 Cielo vehicles

Defect: The windshield frame bonding may be insufficient and allow the frame to detach in a crash. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 208, “Occupant Crash Protection.”

2023 Tesla Model X vehicles

Defect: Weak camera signal strength may prevent the rearview image from displaying. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 111, “Rear Visibility.”

2023 Land Rover Range Rover Sport vehicles

Units Recalled: 5
Defect: The vehicles are equipped with incorrect rear taillights that do not illuminate correctly. In addition, the brake lights may not illuminate correctly. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, ” Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment.”

Defect: The second-row seat frame may have been insufficiently welded.

Defect: The head restraints for the second-row outboard seats may have been improperly manufactured without locking tabs in the guide sleeves. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 202, “Head Restraints.”

Defect: The internal tire bead may have been damaged during the wheel mounting process.

Defect: The powertrain control module software may cause an incorrect fuel mixture condition in the engine, and result in an engine stall.

Certain 2023 Rogue, Pathfinder, and Infiniti QX60 vehicles

Defect: The driver’s powered seat may not be fully secured to the seat frame, causing the seat frame welds to detach from the rear inboard seat bracket.

Certain 2022 Ram 1500 vehicles

Defect: The B-pillar impact sensors may be missing, which can result in delayed air bag deployment or non-deployment.

Certain 2021-2023 Jeep Wrangler, Gladiator, and 2022-2023 Ram 1500 vehicles

Defect: The high pressure fuel pump (HPFP) may fail.

2022-2023 Mazda CX-30 and 2023 CX-50 vehicles

Defect: The anti-lock brake system (ABS) Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU) may be damaged, which can result in reduced braking ability.

2023 Nissan Titan and Frontier vehicles

Defect: The tires may have a tear in the inner bead which can cause a rapid loss of tire pressure.

2019-2023 GM Chevrolet 4500HD, 5500HD, and 6500HD Medium-Duty trucks

Defect: The brake pressure sensor assembly may leak brake fluid into the brake pressure switch and cause an electrical short-circuit.

2023 BMW X1 xDrive28i, X1 M35i vehicles

Defect: On the second-row outboard seats, the seat belts may have been pinched by an interior trim panel during vehicle assembly.

2023 Ford Bronco and Ranger vehicles

Year: 2023

Defect: The lug nuts on the driver’s side wheels may have been improperly tightened.
